8 Bullets-Frank Ternier (2014)

This is a story about revenge. It engages the audience through use of the colour red which helps understand the emotions of the father who wants revenge for the killer who harmed his family. There is more than one narrator in this animation, which puts the audience in the mind of the character. The narration keeps the story moving and the flashback scenes compresses time showing something happened. There are moments of peace and violence and the drawings, music and dialogue keep the audience interested. I do feel though this animation requires full concentration to understand its meaning even though there are a lot of clues but they do need decoding to appreciate this animation.
