David Fuhrer – Favourite Digital Artists

David Fuhrer

David Fuhrer (otherwise known as Microbot) is a Swiss digital painter.

He uses Photoshop, Sketchbook and Painter. He also uses brush, pen, smudge and cloning tools.

He creates detailed artwork from illustrations about the universe and beyond and sceneries of images that are surreal and dreamlike. He stretches the imagination and the colours and textures in his work are exhilarating. Even without moving pictures the artwork feels like it is dancing to an orchestra.

The images are very complex and give the viewer plenty to think about. I really appreciate this type of art as the artist has used his imagination and various tools to create a still picture that feels alive. It is equal to the visual art that are interactive.
