This article is a quick glance history of digital art through 1950 to 1990s and onwards. It is written in decade order and therefore does not give in depth information on the exact details of the progress made since 1950; however it does work as a short history for an informal understanding of how computer art is what it is today.
The overall comments are useful and the style of writing is easy to understand. The images help the understanding of the text but it would be helpful to have links so the reader can obtain more information. There is also not enough background information on the artists.
On balance the article can be understood easily and is a good assessment of early computer art and as it is an article on the Victoria and Albert Museum website to advertise there collections it does inspire the reader to want to go and view the artwork.
